Midterm 20%
Pop quizzes* 5%
Class participation

(I like to reward students for not only getting the right answer, but also for asking good questions)

Final project 40%

*if you miss a pop quiz, no make up is possible. We will give out 7 pop quizzes and drop the lowest two to account of excused absences.
